I write about what’s new in virology from the molecular biology point of view, covering topics such as human papiloma virus, hepatitis C, herpes simplex, and other viruses, especially those occurring in the body in a latent state. I have a BS in Life Sciences from Tel Aviv University, and have participated in research projects in various fields, such as marine biology, molecular biology, and genetics (see this published paper <PNAS- add link where underlined>). My interests also extend to other scientific fields such as astronomy, zoology, and science history. I love reading, trekking, bonfire and BBQ cooking, and scuba diving. I am a qualified PADI diving instructor and have worked in that field since 2010.
